First Star is hosting a webinar exploring how frequent moves and housing instability can affect students’ ability to stay connected, engaged, and successful in school. UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools (CTS) Research Analyst Mayra Cazares-Minero will share emerging research on highly mobile youth, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Karina Garcia-Lopez and Marquel Reid of First Star. The session will highlight what strengthens continuity and connection for highly mobile students and how research can inform practice, policy, and systems change.
