Thomas Jacobson, Ph.D. Research Analyst

Thomas Jacobson is a Research Analyst at UCLA’s Center for the Transformation of Schools, where he works primarily on the California Community Schools Partnership Program project. Prior to working at CTS, Thomas worked as a Graduate Student Researcher on a multi-year mixed-methods study of Indigenous-language immersion schooling funded by the Spencer Foundation. Thomas’s methodological interests include multilevel modeling, causal inference, and innovative uses of administrative data in the context of education research-practice partnerships. Thomas holds an MPP from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, an MS in Statistics from UCLA, and a PhD in Education from the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies.
