Heather Reynolds Affiliated Scholar

Heather M. Reynolds, Ed.M., Ph.D. is a Professor of Teacher Education at SUNY Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Heather has more than thirty years of experience working as a teacher, researcher, and teacher educator where she strived to create safe, engaging, and welcoming school and classroom environments. Heather’s professional expertise and passion for learning led her to serving on the Board of Education for the Saratoga Springs CSD from 2016-2019. Heather’s most recent publications have focused on issues of social justice and school safety as well as advising and offering strategies for local district decision makers to work collaboratively with experts in the field to adopt data driven school safety programs and policies. Currently, Heather is a consultant for SEL-Solutions where she joins forces with district stakeholders to assess social-emotional programming and supports that will lead to school success.
