Scaling Equity: Research and Evaluation Strategies for Stronger Community Schools & Whole System Strategies

Effective community schools require a clear understanding of what’s working, for whom, and why. In this webinar, prospective and new California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) grantees will explore how integrating research and evaluation from the start can support continuous improvement, strengthen implementation, and demonstrate impact.

Drawing on seven years of experience developing research and evaluation systems—including as research lead for the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Community Schools R-TAC and California’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) pilot—researchers from the UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools (CTS) will share practical, equity-informed approaches for evaluating complex community school strategies and turning data and community insights into actionable information.
