Dr. Sara Grineski is a Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Utah (UU). At UU, she also co-directs the Center for Natural and Technological Hazards and serves as a faculty lead at the Wilkes Center for Climate Science and Policy. Dr. Grineski studies the unequal ways in which environmental hazards like air pollution impact children’s health and development, including academic performance outcomes and developmental disabilities.
