Aleida Arreaga is the Financial Analyst at UCLA’s Center for the Transformation of Schools, where she works as part of the finance and operations team processing travel and entertainment expenses, working with vendors, reconciliations for our centers expenses among much more.
Prior to working at CTS, Aleida worked at UCLA Anderson with the Riordan Programs while going to school. Aleida has experience in payroll processing, administrative work, and bookkeeping. Growing up in a marginalized community, Aleida shares the same passion for CTS’ research projects. She studied abroad in Argentina during her undergrad where she worked on a paper about marginalized communities and human rights that affected children’s education, and because of this, pursued a minor in Latin America. Aleida, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She lives in Los Angeles with her family in Leimert Park and spends her free time on her streetwear business, going to the gym, and working with her dad on the family business.
