Caitlyn McAloon, M.A. Digital Communications Coordinator

Caitlyn McAloon is the Digital Communications Coordinator at UCLA’s Center for the Transformation of Schools (CTS), where she helps manage the Center’s social media, website, communications strategy, public relations, podcast, and other digital channels. Before working at CTS, Caitlyn worked in development and communications at non-profit organizations providing health care in vulnerable and underserved communities. Caitlyn has experience in research, writing, editing, social media, development, and fundraising. She enjoys working at this historic university and sharing CTS’s important research. Caitlyn studied and researched aspects of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, education, crime, and media while obtaining her degrees. Caitlyn holds an M.A. in Sociology and a B.S. in Journalism from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. She lives with one of her best friends and 3 kittens in Los Angeles and spends her free time outside in the sun, eating great food, practicing self-care, and relaxing on the beach.
