The Long View chronicles the efforts of Oakland students, parents, educators, and organizers to address systemic inequities in the city’s public school system. The film unfolds over the course of a three-year period of community led change in schools and in the district. Anyone interested in community school models and grassroots organizing will find The Long View story both familiar and thought provoking.
